ABU DHABI: Australia win toss and elect to bowl first in the first Twenty20 against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and chose to bowl first in the first Twenty20 match against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Finch’s side is unchanged from the XI that defeated the UAE by seven wickets on Monday.
That means the explosive D’Arcy Short will partner Finch at the top of the Australia order, with Chris Lynn, Glenn Maxwell and Ben McDermott to form the middle order.
The bowling line-up will consist of paceman Billy Stanlake, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Andrew Tye, with Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar to provide the spinning options.
Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam are scheduled to open the Pakistan innings, with the experienced Sarfraz Ahmed named as captain and wicketkeeper.
